BAM-15
Also known as Mitochondrial uncoupler BAM15
An oral mitochondrial uncoupler used in short blocks for fat loss.
How it's taken (route)
swallowed as a capsule or pill, usually on an empty stomach
New to peptides? Start with the beginner's guide.
- Documented dose
- 50000–50000 mcg
- Typical frequency
- One 50 mg capsule each morning, ideally fasted
- Cycle
- 3 weeks on, 3 off
- Half-life
- Short
- Regulatory status
- Research chemical — not approved for human use.
No syringe needed
BAM-15 is taken oral capsule or tablet, so there is no U-100 syringe draw for it.
What it does
BAM-15 makes your cells burn fuel less efficiently, so more energy leaves the body as heat instead of being stored. People use it in short 2-4 week blocks alongside a calorie deficit to move stubborn weight while keeping muscle. It does not suppress appetite.
Mechanism
Uncouples mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, raising energy expenditure without the dangerous runaway heat associated with older uncouplers like DNP.
Storage — lyophilisedwhat's this?
Keep capsules in a cool, dry place.
Storage — reconstitutedwhat's this?
Not applicable — oral capsules.
Reconstitution noteswhat's this?
No mixing needed. One 50 mg capsule daily in the morning, 2-4 weeks on and 2-4 weeks off.
Stacks well with
- SLU-PP-332Two metabolic angles: more energy burned and more mitochondria built.
- 5-Amino-1MQCommon oral metabolic pairing.
Popular combinations reported in the community and research literature — not a recommendation. Adding peptides multiplies side-effect risk; check with a clinician.
Commonly reported side effects
- Feeling warm
- Elevated heart rate
- Sweating
- Fatigue
Contraindications noted
- Heart conditions
- Fever or heat illness
- Stacking with other thermogenics or stimulants
Research notes
Preclinical data only. Considered safer than DNP in animal work, but no human trials support long-term use.
