Mechanism
Tesamorelin binds GHRH receptors to increase endogenous growth hormone secretion, with a particular effect on visceral adipose tissue. Ipamorelin selectively activates the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) to release an additional GH pulse without meaningfully raising cortisol, prolactin or hunger.
